Sounds like she thinks the mouse is a kitten! (amazing that she's had the same mousie for 15 years and a) hasn't destroyed it and b) hasn't lost it by now!)
quiltcat, we've often thought that she treats it like a kitten but then there are times she flings it in the air like a mouse! The very first one she had as a wee kitten, she loved so much you could almost see through it...the fabric was so worn. There are times we have lost it, hoping I didn't accidentally vacuum it but it keeps reappearing!
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
click "Kimbea" the featured pet above to see samples of custom pet portraits and info. I can work from your photos with ink and watercolors to create a lasting memory of a beloved pet.
