D has been doing repairs on the house before the snow flies... when he went inside for a quick lunch, this little fellow appeared on top of the saw horse. He seemed to be contemplating whether or not to lend a helping hand in D's absence.
I work on my art wherever I may be and this afternoon I was sitting on the couch drawing a horse for a commission when Brody crawled behind the sofa cushion, twirled around in a tiny space and ended up here at the end of the couch. Looked like he was waiting in hiding for Miss Polly to appear but sleepiness took over.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
