Recently returned home after being away from
my Furry Family for 3 weeks.
They fill my heart with love and contentment!
Ellie May just loves a little fresh air on the porch
and also loves keeping an eye on any critters and
she did indeed spot one over here:

Fantastic shot of the chipmunk sticking his head out! Nice and clear - you must have been pretty close. I was very happy to see a family of chipmunks racing around my yard the other day (it's now pouring/flooding, so I'm wondering if they are managing to stay dry).
Jill,
Glad to hear your chipmunks are back...hope one of them is your buddy from last year! Hope they have found a dry spot!
It's been raining very hard with hurricane force winds all day and now into the evening.
i'm sure your kitties were glad to see you, too, nan!
Karen,
I think they were, I could hear Brody talking furiously upstairs when I entered the house! Polly sniffed my nose and Ellie May immediately sat on my lap!
Welcome back to Maine, Nan! I'm sure your brood was happy to see you!
The close-up of the chipmunk is fabulous!
I'll bet your dad is missing you, but it's always good to get home.
Thanks Judy,
Good to hear from you! I've seen two chipmunks chasing each other through the garden...I know there's more!
So good to be home but at the same time I miss being in Conn. with my Dad!
So good to read that you have had success with your indoor citrus trees. It gives me hope for mine. :-)
