After a long winter, Polly has rediscovered her
sunny basket in a window D's workroom!
Comfort and bliss!

Empty?

Sun was streaming through the
windows this morning.
As I glanced
out at the bird feeders they appeared
totally empty as the sun backlit them.

But wait, something seemed
to move in the bottom of one...
thought a bird was stuck on the
inside.

Upon closer inspection, I realized
it was a chipmunk!

In the blink of an eye, it made it to the
top

and then scurried away as my husband
refilled the bird feeders!

The Owl and The Pussycat

One of my grand nephews has quite a hat
collection and seeing him in this particular hat
has inspired this painting with the help of my
assistant.
