Empty?

Sun was streaming through the
windows this morning.
As I glanced
out at the bird feeders they appeared
totally empty as the sun backlit them.

But wait, something seemed
to move in the bottom of one...
thought a bird was stuck on the
inside.

Upon closer inspection, I realized
it was a chipmunk!

In the blink of an eye, it made it to the
top

and then scurried away as my husband
refilled the bird feeders!
