The snow is piling up on the trees tonight as Ellie May is about to snuggle in for the evening. We're hoping the snow covered trees don't knock out the power. This is a most unusual snow storm to occur in October in Maine. You can take a look over here.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
click "Kimbea" the featured pet above to see samples of custom pet portraits and info. I can work from your photos with ink and watercolors to create a lasting memory of a beloved pet.

she looks a little worried?
I hope that you made it through the storm in good shape.
Lori and Louise,
thanks for writing...we are thankful we did fine through the storm. It is strange to have the feeling of winter with autumn leaves.
Yes, it was quite a storm!! Lots of branches down here!
