Spring and summer seem to have arrived together
and exceptionally early this year!
The chipmunks woke up and are scurrying around
and filling up on sunflower seeds...
birds are singing and we have heard the peepers
peeping from nearby ponds as night falls...
Brody loves sitting out on the porch
keeping an eye on the wildlife activity
in the yard.
He's seen the flying squirrels at night!
And to my surprise I saw this wonderful porcupine
way up in a willow tree.

it is spring! so early, but weather is acting strange around the country it seems. a porcupine in a tree?! wow!
