- I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more. Doesn't it seem like our pets always need to be in the middle of everything? I was reading the paper last night and Zach walked across my lap and sat. I guess he wanted lap time. :)
