Victoria, Thanks for your comment and I did the same thing when I saw the dragonfly pause on the fence post! I just barely had time to take several photos before it flew away.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.

All the photos are beautiful, but that Dragonfly made me gasp. It's so gorgeous!
Victoria,
Thanks for your comment and I did the same thing when I saw the dragonfly pause on the fence post! I just barely had time to take several photos before it flew away.
How lovely to see all these creatures in your garden. Was the swallowtail caterpillar eating up your parsley?
Hi quiltcat,
Actually the catepillar was eating the carrots so D put him on the Queen Anne's Lace which is related to carrots!
