Oyster Crackers For The Gulls!

Yesterday D and I took a little walk on the
beach and noticed 2 young gulls walking
together... they were poking in the sand looking
for food and ended up with
autumn leaves that had washed ashore!
Looks like they are still learning about what to eat!

They were and crying out!

Well, we happened to have some oyster crackers
in the car to give them but it also attracted all of
the other gulls in the area!

Before we knew it they were catching them in
mid-air!

What a sight and I'm so glad my camera was handy!

Nan, you got some really great photos! My favorite is the one where the gull is just about to catch the cracker in his beak.

Thanks Victoria!
I loved capturing this for they looked amazing and I usually don't have the chance to see them with my camera from this view point and so close!

The one of the gull catching the cracker is great...but D with gull wings sprouting from his cap is hilarious!

Thanks quiltcat!
Isn't that photo funny, D said I probably thought of him being a birdbrain on occasion but never thought I'd actually see it!
