Visiting Tiger and Family

Last night Dad and I had a lovely visit with my sister,
brother-in-law and nephew and of course, Tiger,
who is in the center of things... though she
disappeared for a spell and we all searched
high and low and just couldn't find her.
It took the shaking of her cat food container to bring
her out of hiding!

Isn't it amazing how invisible a cat can become in
a small house when you've searched everywhere!

A Snowy Squirrel

Early this morning in Connecticut,
not much was moving...and then
a squirrel scurried across the snow
and up into the maple tree.

We quietly observed each other!

Oh Deer!

Thursday afternoon, while in Connecticut,
I stepped outside the porch door to focus my
camera on the big maple tree, alive with sparrows.
Some were being fed by a parent.
I was totally absorbed watching them.
Some small sound broke the spell and I looked
away from the tree and standing across the street
was this beautiful deer.

The deer paused for several moments before
disappearing through a neighbors' trellis.

TIger

I only had a chance to see my niece cat, Tiger,
for a minute today.
She looked as comfy and adorable as ever!

Nephew and Niece Dogs in Connecticut

Every Sunday night, one of my sisters makes
a family dinner for whoever can make
it and it includes the pets.
There's usually all of her family and
4 dogs and my parents love to go.
It's wonderful to be surrounded by
the family with delicious food and
a warm cozy atmosphere.

We were talking about how wonderful
it is to have pets in your life, their constant
love and companionship is a comfort and
they help in so many ways.

It takes place at Sugar's house.

Here's Gus !

Jet and Marge...

Marge was a puppy when I was here
last time and she has grown quite a bit!
