Believe it or not, Nan, I saw this picture yesterday and thought, "What a lovely plant", never noticing Brody. When I looked again today, I had to laugh! Do I need new reading glasses? I wonder...
Judy Hartman, Oh, that is so funny but I can understand how you could have missed seeing him...he is well camouflaged. Actually, my Dad and brother had checked it out and didn't notice him at first either!
that's really cute! i am lucky that the one cat who gets up by the Christmas cactus isn't interested in nibbling on it...mine also blooms only on one side, because the plant is tipped in its pot, and reaching towards the light.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
click "Kimbea" the featured pet above to see samples of custom pet portraits and info. I can work from your photos with ink and watercolors to create a lasting memory of a beloved pet.
