Sea Ducks

I love to watch the winter seabirds and am always
on the lookout when we visit the beach.

Earlier this week I was thrilled to see these
beautiful Grebes.

This afternoon we saw these Buffleheads!
They are adorable!
( first time I have ever seen them)

Gorgeous! I've never seen Buffleheads before. Now I'll be on the lookout when I'm at the shore!

Thanks for your sweet note over at my place. I'm so glad that my recipe is one you and your husband can both enjoy. I won't lie; we each had two helpings tonight. We'll walk an extra mile tomorrow; it was worth it! ;D

Have a great week! xo Gigi

Really nice pictures of the grebes and buffleheads! I've seen buffleheads on the Potomac River in the winter, but have never had the opportunity to take their picture. I especially like how you caught the one bird mostly out of the water.

Gigi,
Thanks for stopping by...oh, the buffleheads had such a beautiful little shape as they bobbed on the water. Your recipe sounds so delicious and I love chocolate and to have it gluten free is the icing on the cake! Two helpings doesn't sound bad, I'm afraid there wouldn't be anything left at our house!
