- I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more. my inlaws have a mourning dove on their patio too! my husband saw it last night, sitting on it's nest, he even saw the baby!

They are such beautiful birds...we're still waiting for the babies...several years ago we saw several babies with the parents so we hope they have good luck this year!
