Garden Helper

D worked in the vegetable garden this afternoon
and had an unexpected visitor supervising and
lending a paw now and then.

The neighbor's cat, Kita, seems to really like
our yard...and she's very personable, likes action
and might be lonely living in a horse barn.

What a sweetie

Nita is a real cutie! It's so nice that she enjoys "helping" D in the garden. I think it's a shame that she's been relegated to the life of a barn cat when she's so sociable and sweet...

Kita is beautiful!

It is nice you let her stay to snoopervise things. We agree, she is probably lonely for some human interaction. Why does she have to live in a horse barn? She must be a good mouser!

JC, quiltcat and Shaggy, Scooby and Scout,
Thanks for visiting and we felt the same way about Kita when we first met her. We thought she was so friendly and should be with people...that was a few falls ago. I think her job is to be a mouser at the horse barn and we were told that she has her own heated room in the winter.
She has been back every day...still helping D when he's out there.
