It's so nice to have our birds back.. thanks to filling the bird feeders! This little chickadee is waiting for a turn at the feeder...once one discovered it, the word spread and now our yard is alive with birds and wildlife...
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.

That is what happens to us. Not many birds at first, then one finds the feeder, and it's a feeding frenzy! We're so happy to feed them. :)
Ahhh, that's a really good shot...Birds are so hard to photograph, they don't sit still for long...Such a cute round head chickadees have.
I'll have up to fifty birds in my front yard .. that I can see ... others will be in the bushes or woods near by.
Purple Flowers,
It's amazing how many different birds have found the feeders...I love them all!
Jill,
They do move so quickly, they grab a seed and are instantly gone! I'm glad when they pause to eat in the nearby trees or wait their turn!
JC,
Wow, that's incredible!
