- I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more. What a great shot, with that dusting of snow on his head! He looks very plump - maybe just has himself fluffed up to stay warm...
Beautiful. We are getting yet another snow today. Was only supposed to be 4-inches but nature didn't stop when she reached 4. More to come Thursday. This storm is probably on the way east to you so watch for a white Christmas:)

Thanks, he was such a fluffy squirrel and his tail was magnificent...there were 2 of them playing and I tend to think they were young...he was back today!

When it was snowing last weekend, we were watching the birds fluttering about the bird feeder, and the squirrels too. It was fun!

our windows sharing the view with a cat or two...knowing the birds are safe from them.
great picture of a squirrel with a little fluffy snow coating! our squirrels stayed in last Saturday when it was snowing so hard but were out and bouncing around as soon as it slowed down on Sunday.
