Sunday's Snow

I find there's nothing like softly falling snow
to slow one down, enjoy the peace and quiet
and to connect with nature.

What a great shot, with that dusting of snow on his head! He looks very plump - maybe just has himself fluffed up to stay warm...

Beautiful. We are getting yet another snow today. Was only supposed to be 4-inches but nature didn't stop when she reached 4. More to come Thursday. This storm is probably on the way east to you so watch for a white Christmas:)

Jill,
Thanks, he was such a fluffy squirrel and his tail was magnificent...there were 2 of them playing and I tend to think they were young...he was back today!

Marnie,
You sure have been getting plenty of snow already! We got just enough snow on Sunday to look wintry...wonder if your recent snow is heading our way!

Nice photo!
When it was snowing last weekend, we were watching the birds fluttering about the bird feeder, and the squirrels too. It was fun!
Zach also had a grand time.

Best wishes for a warm holiday season.

Helz,
Wishing you the best in the New Year!
Thanks so much for your comments!

Judy H,
Thanks! That is a very wholesome squirrel!

Purple Flowers,
Thanks and I hope you all enjoy the holidays! I love watching birds from
our windows sharing the view with a cat or two...knowing the birds are safe from them.

great picture of a squirrel with a little fluffy snow coating! our squirrels stayed in last Saturday when it was snowing so hard but were out and bouncing around as soon as it slowed down on Sunday.
