A chickadee waited as I shoveled around the bird feeders late this afternoon.
At the beach, the gull could ignorethe message on the sign.

Polly looks so fluffy and contented, wrapped up in her own tail! Nice of you to clear around the feeder for the birds. There were lots of chickadees and juncoes in my blackberry bramble today...lots of feeding going on, but no snow here.

it's snowing here again, though this time it is supposed to turn to rain this afternoon. D was outside til 11 pm. shoveling everything that could be shoveled for fear if he didn't it would freeze in whatever shape it was last left and we'd never be able to move it. Polly had chosen to nap on top of the cards that came in the mail and yours was on top of the pile and under her head!
