Sylvie, Louie, Fuzzy, and Gingy wish Polly, Ellie May, and Brody a very happy solstice...they know that these smart kitties will spend the longest night of the year sleeping!

quiltcat, Ellie May, Brody and Polly wish Sylvie, Louie, Fuzzy and Gingy a happy solstice, too! D and I did go to Concord, Massachusetts and are wondering just how much snow fell in Maine today...there is plenty here! Oliver is my father-in-law's cat and he normally is in hiding but tonight he made many appearances. He is adorable but difficult to photograph.

A Solistice with cats is a wonderful thing. We just found your blog via Quiltcat. The pictures are beautiful, as are your cats. Interesting little stories too, we will visit again.

What a gorgeous picture of Polly. They are all nice but Polly's stands out. I have a brown tabby too;)
Merry Christmas

Hi Marnie,
Oh, thanks for the compliment on Polly's photo. Every time I look at her I'm tempted to photograph her. She especially loves it when her Dad brushes her. She will sit beside him on the couch and gaze at him so adoringly and intently to gain his attention! She is actually happy when anyone will brush her but she does have a very special bond with D and I love the expressions she has when she's near him.

(Just curious, does your brown tabby have short legs?)

Merry Christmas to you!
