Hi Nan, I'm delighted that you found my blog, stopped by for a visit, and left a comment! Oh Maine!!! I've ALWAYS wanted to spend, oh I don't know, a week? a month? on the wild Maine coast--in the winter---yes, I know, I have NO IDEA what I'm wishing for, right??? ROFL Your artwork is beautiful!! The drawings for the book are awesome! And looks like you have a niece following in your footsteps! :) My most beloved dog, Badger, just crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 2-25-09. I'm lost without him. But my friend, Flannie, has an artist sister, and as a belated birthday surprise for me, she took a photo of Badger and had her sister do a portrait(?) of him. OMG, it is worth more to me than all of the gold and jewels. Maybe someday I'll have you do a portrait of my other wienie, Dewey. :)
Hiya Nan! I'm back! Wow! Great artwork, I really love the drawing of the pussy cat - it looks like my Bob! Great work! Hope you're well, and having a good time visiting your family.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
click "Kimbea" the featured pet above to see samples of custom pet portraits and info. I can work from your photos with ink and watercolors to create a lasting memory of a beloved pet.

very talented young lady!
Great work! Your niece IS a budding artist!!
I'll bet she is pleased to be featured on your blog!
Very nice work.
Oh we love that kitty pencil drawing! She definitely has talent. Unlike our mom who can only draw snow people & cats, and stick men. *sigh*
I agree. Your niece's drawings are very good!
She is talented. I love the kitty sleeping beneath the tree. Very nice.
