- I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more. I've ALWAYS wanted to spend, oh I don't know, a week? a month? on the wild Maine coast--in the winter---yes, I know, I have NO IDEA what I'm wishing for, right??? ROFL Your artwork is beautiful!! The drawings for the book are awesome! And looks like you have a niece following in your footsteps! :)
My most beloved dog, Badger, just crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 2-25-09. I'm lost without him. But my friend, Flannie, has an artist sister, and as a belated birthday surprise for me, she took a photo of Badger and had her sister do a portrait(?) of him. OMG, it is worth more to me than all of the gold and jewels. Maybe someday I'll have you do a portrait of my other wienie, Dewey. :)
