Polly was snuggled in her basket this evening and looked so very sweet. Cats have a way of making you feel so content. Such a pleasure to be in their company.
She looks snug and peaceful. Cats are so "in the moment", I think a little of that rubs off on us. No worries about the future or the past. What is important is are you comfortable and content right now;) Marnie
thanks oldcrow61, I do seem to take so many pictures of Polly and I have done many drawings of her...every time I look at her I just want to capture that moment!
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
click "Kimbea" the featured pet above to see samples of custom pet portraits and info. I can work from your photos with ink and watercolors to create a lasting memory of a beloved pet.

It wouldn't be "home" without a cat!
Karen L R, You know, that's just how I feel and that reminds me of a favorite quote which I will post next. Thanks!

Marnie,
So very true and we all can use some of that in our lives.
