A Suprise Visit

Late yesterday afternoon, we received a phone call
from a friend who said she had something really cool
to show us and wanted to stop by immediately.
It was a surprise and she said it was a gift.
As she walked down the path she was carrying a basket
and I do love baskets and thought maybe that was the gift.
As she got closer I could peer inside.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing... 2 tiny 8 week old
kittens. Oh, they were so adorable.
We wished we could have taken them into our home
to be part of our family but we really have no vacancies!
Every room in our little house and studio is occupied by a cat.
Our 3 dear cats all need their own space and we do not
wish to do anything to upset them.
I must say that we were smitten by the kittens
and so much enjoyed meeting them.
It's very easy to fall in love with them.
I can't get them out of my mind today!
I took many photos of our friend holding the little
girl and D holding the little boy and are trying to
think of someone we might know
who could give them the home
they deserve.

Oh my goodness! Nan! They are sweeter than anything! I wouldn't have had your will-power (but I agree totally, Bob left home for 5 days when we got Egg and bacon) The little black one is like looking at bacon 2 and a half years ago, a little fluff ball! And as for the gray one! Well, georeous dosen't even come close! Adorable!

quiltcat,
I'm still thinking about them...one is a Himalayan and the other she said was a coon cat.

Buskitten Liz,
It was so very tempting to take them but we know we just can't do it at this time and the other part is the expense for being self-employed and artists, is very frightening financially in general but even more so in this economy.

Adorable. It won't be hard to find a home for the color point. I'm lucky, my cats don't exactly like each other but they are tolerant.

How sweet can you get! Adorable!
Too bad you could not keep them, but they will find good homes. How could they not?!
