My Art Helpers

Woke up early this morning with Brody, who
was thrilled and trilled and purred when he
realized I was going to be working for a little
while in his studio,
a little room upstairs in the house!
He settled in right beside me on the work table
and watched as I continued to work on a
drawing of cormorants sitting on the dock.

Meanwhile, right through the window, I
could see Ellie May in her studio watching
and waiting for me to bring over her breakfast
and then to work under her guiding countenance.

Minka, welcome to my blogs and you're right about the kitties!

quiltcat,
actually I feel like the whole house is my studio for I work everywhere so in a way I have 3 studio cats for when I'm downstairs and working on the couch, Polly cuddles up beside me!

What a delightful and charming post......your narrative is beautiful in its simplicity.....

I had a ginger cat when I was a child.....the only pet my mother let me have......

Cheryl,
Thanks very much for stopping by and leaving such a lovely comment!
I'll be over to see what is new in your wildlife sanctuary!

What adorable cats.

Cats are the best art critiques. They always like whatever we do as long as we stop occasionally for a pet or a back scratch.

As always, your photographs are beautiful and lyrical, Nan - a real pleasure!
