Chippy , A Surprise Meeting

I came upon chippy by surprise as she was
exiting her hole after bringing in a supply of
food for winter storage.

She froze for a moment, while contemplating
her next move....

escape!

to be continued soon!

Last time I was in VT, I saw a giant chipmunk scurrying through one of the flower gardens, with his cheeks bulging with munchies. Do you suppose they know something about the upcoming winter that we don't? Your chippy on the fence is too funny.

Karen LR, Gee, I think they might just know something...many of our chipmunks have been stocking up for quite some time now! They make me smile with their bulging cheeks!

I think Chipmunks are such pretty little things and of course we don't have them here, I suppose the nearest we have is a Squirrel.

such a cute little critter she is! There used to be chipmunks here but haven't seen one in quite a few years. However, there are quite a few young squirrels scurrying around here.

Shy Songbird, quiltcat and Judy Hartman,
There sure is something so cute about chipmunks. I am aware some people find them to be trouble in the garden but nevertheless, I love them!
