A Busy Day at the Bird Feeder

This morning I was fascinated by the view from
our window of all of the activity surrounding
our bird feeder.
It was a very busy destination and
everyone was moving very quickly for they
might have sensed an impending snow storm.
Among the visitors were the cardinals and bluejays,
chickadees and juncos, a tufted titmouse, a wren,
unusual sparrows, goldfinches, house finches, a woodpecker
and some very entertaining and enterprising gray and red squirrels.

Great pictures of all the activity! The squirrels are cute and athletic...hope they can't chew the tube to get to the seed. It's fun looking at that one guy eating while hanging upside down.

The little squirrel looks like the ones I see in photos from Canadian bloggers. Our squirrels look different, not nearly as cute;).

That red bird (is it a cardinal?) It is very beautiful anyway...are they common birds with you?
