What could be better for an indoor house cat than a sunny day and having her Dad escort her outside and set her down on the spot where the catmint grows, and then rubs under her chin?
Hope you don't mind me dropping by. I saw your comment on Roses and Lilacs blog and as there was mention of cats I simply had to stop by, being a cat lover myself with six. You're blog is wonderful. I'll be stopping by again.
quiltcat and Carla, Thanks for your comments! Polly is so sweet, she's short and round, very kind and a little wobbly when she walks. When she was young, she was an indoor/outdoor kitty. She would sit in the middle of the coreopsis and we couldn't see her, eventually she flattened out the center so it resembled a doughnut shape.
oldcrow61, I'm delighted that you stopped by and hope you stop by again. I just stopped by yours and enjoyed it and will be back there soon!
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
click "Kimbea" the featured pet above to see samples of custom pet portraits and info. I can work from your photos with ink and watercolors to create a lasting memory of a beloved pet.
