quiltcat, Judy and Marnie, I just thought that was the cutest chipmunk..I've actually seen 2 of them running around and they look like this is their first spring. It didn't take it long to figure out how the bird feeders work. Dave thought it looked like it was vacuuming up all of the sunflower seeds in the photo at the bird feeder.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.

oh my, that is too cute! look at how full his cheek pouches are, too!
Very, very cute! Great photos!
His cheeks are so full he can hardly get his head into the hole. These little scamps can empty a feeder quickly.

I think D had a good point, Nan...the picture looks like "insert snout in feeder; inhale!" *g*
