Remembering a Special Place

Many years ago I was living in the
city of Boston and yearned for the sea.
I moved to a quaint seacoast town that
had a big impact on my life.
More about that over at my other
blog, shells and roses.

Ellie looks like a true art lover:)

I saw your earlier post of Brody's fondness for pants, and it made me smile. Our cat Toby loves to nap on the bed, but much prefers to have clean clothes to lay on rather than just the comforter. I have to carry a lint brush with me wherever I go:)

Ellie May doesn't seem to be fazed at all by those terrifying waves crashing below her! great painting (and lovely photo of the kitty too)

Is that the same house as you featured on your other site? Only this painting has an angry sea.

Rose,
Ellie May really is an art lover, she grew up in our gallery and really knows art as well as being an artist herself! Isn't that funny that Toby loves to sleep on clean clothes as well! Brody's favorite thing is a pile of warm laundry.

Judy,
thanks! I painted that a long time ago while living in Marblehead and there was a huge storm where the waves were crashing over the buildings...I used acrylics on wood or that one.

quiltcat,
Ellie is a seafaring kitty!

Marnie,
Actually that was a different house that was down near the harbor...I'll never forget that storm. Of course, as bad as it was D and I had to go and watch it!
