My sister, C has loved animals since she was a young child. As an adult, she's had the pleasure to have had 3 darling dogs in her life that will always have a special place in her heart.

I am thankful that I have been able to preserve their memory with my ink and watercolors.
...and now Tiger is the heart of their home and she is such a love!
Marnie, thanks so much for you comment! I sure do miss my kitties, the connection we have with animals runs so deep! Tiger is always stealing my sister's chair so they often have to share! Nan

I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
click "Kimbea" the featured pet above to see samples of custom pet portraits and info. I can work from your photos with ink and watercolors to create a lasting memory of a beloved pet.

Wonderful paintings. You have captured the sweetness in their eyes and expressions.
Love the kitty. That chubby pink face is adorable. Tortie is probably my favorite color in cats--and black too.

Very sweet paintings of your sister's late dogs...and what a cutie Tiger is! She looks like she's reading fan mail in the bottom picture :).
