Sharing Food

Today we had another snow storm
and I was glued to the window with
my camera. Lucky to have a birds eye
view of the birdfeeder, I took many
photos as the snow and birds flew by the window.
Quite a bit of seed had fallen
into the snow and this unlikely pair
appeared to be sharing a meal.

This critter could be the reason so many seeds
made it to the ground.

They really are the odd couple;) Poor birds are having a hard time this winter.

Very nice picture of the junco and cardinal, Nan! Do you have a zoom lens on your camera? i was home from work yesterday and the feeder was swarming with birds, but i couldn't get a good picture from indoors. (The fact that the window in the back door is all smudged with kitty nose prints doesn't help *g*)

Hi Nan! Welcome home! Your photographs are absolutely amazing, I can't believe how you get the animal shots so clearly. I struggle to take pics of the cats, and they're not wild!
