Brody and I heard something scurrying around on the roof early this morning. Brody came to investigate but couldn't see anything except his reflection in the window.
That's a very intriguing picture! Is he looking at your studio? Looks like a little dream building lost in the snow. We had squirrels thumping across the roof yesterday, too.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.

Maybe its a nice juicy squirrel! They run across our roof when they jump out of one tree to get to another one.
quiltcat,
That is my studio through the window...the seal is broken on the window so it permanently has a foggy, hazy look to it.
Shaggy, Scooby and Scout,
It did have the sound of a very fast squirrel. Hmmm, we don't have any trees next to our house tall enough for jumping.
